it always feels good to cross things off a ‘to do’ list..
when i was in 5th grade i made this list of things i wanted to do before i died.
at the time it included some really funny things.. like meeting the president and starting a county wide recycling program..
while i dont have that actual 5th grade list anymore.. i do have a new list that i made a few years back. some of the things on that list are pretty funny as well. but for the most part they really are things i think i need to have done before i die.
well, in the past 3 weeks i have been able to cross off a few more things.
one was hike through a rainforest. derek and i did this in st. lucia on our honeymoon, and it was incredible. a trip through the rainforest was on the original list as well… mrs. follmer would be so happy to hear about this.
the second thing to cross off is donating hair to locks of love. this morning i went to the salon and donated 10 inches of hair. it was sad to see the brown ponytail go.. but im convinced it will look lovely on someone else’s head.
two items checked off… feeling pretty productive. i wonder whats next off the list… meeting the president?
